We are dedicated to helping people understand better the monumental events of the First World War, whether through our guided tours, our specialist bookshop at Ypres, or simply through offering advice and information. 

Despite all the conveniences of modern life, a trip to France or Belgium is still a major undertaking for most people involving a journey of hundreds, sometimes thousands of miles. Our tours ensure that having taken such a journey you will be able to fully benefit from what to many people is nothing short of a pilgrimage.

Of all the battles fought in that terrible war, Ypres and the Somme remain the most infamous. Never in history have so many Britons, Australians, Canadians, New Zealanders and South Africans died in so small an area for so little material gain. Our tours are based on both of these battlefields so that at last you will have the opportunity to pay your respects at the many monuments and cemeteries and to explore the old trenches. With us you can follow in the footsteps of your forefathers as our professional British guides take you not only to the major sites but also to the quiet, lesser known spots that we have discovered in many years of living on and exploring the battlefields.

It is important to note that during any tour of the battlefields, visitors do not pick up or touch any relics or artefacts that may be laying around. In the Ypres Salient alone over 300 tons a year are still found to this day. Fully checked, safe and preserved items can be purchased from our shop by the Menin Gate.
